What is classical pilates?
Classical pilates is the study of the original methodology developed by Joseph Pilates. This methodology is all about the small things; breathing, engaging the core, correct posture, and . The main goal is total body fitness, focusing on elongating and stretching the core and spine, while building muscle in all parts of the body. Unlike contemporary pilates, classical is very structured and has a defined flow. There won’t be loud music or microphones, just your breathing and your mind working together to improve your fitness and your overall health.
